Elisabetta Colla holds the following degrees: MA (Laurea) degree in Oriental languages and literatures, Ca’Foscari University of Venice; diploma in Chinese language and culture, former Beijing Languages Institute; MA degree in Asian studies, Faculty of Human Sciences of Oporto; and a PhD in Cultural Studies from the Faculty of Human Sciences of the Portuguese Catholic University, Lisbon. She is currently Assistant Professor at FLUL (School of Arts and Humanities, Lisbon University) and has written various articles and a dissertation on Macau.
